There are hundreds of books written on the topic of black jack available throughout your local bookstores and on the internet. If you have the desire to learn how to play blackjack like a professional then you need to be willing to put in the work. In order to become better at anything you need to always practice and learn new things. In blackjack it’s really simple to learn the basics of the game, but that isn’t going to help you beat the casino. I’ve compiled a small list of some of the best beginner blackjack books that you should read if you want to master this card game.
* One of the best beginner blackjack books for players to read is titled “Basic Blackjack”. The book deals with all of the different blackjack variants, so you not only will learn how to play all of the variants in the casinos, but you’ll also be able to master the beginner strategies. The book is written by Stanford Wong.
* A book titled “Golden Touch Blackjack Revolution” is a must read for any new blackjack player who wants to learn the simplest method of card counting. There are better systems out there that are more advanced, but you need to start with the easiest information before moving onto the advanced books.
* “Twenty-First Century Blackjack” is a book that will go through some simple methods that players can use in the casino today apart from the old school methods of card counting. There are some excellent systems to pick up by reading this book and it will give you a new outlook of the game of blackjack.
* Another excellent read which will not only give you beginner techniques, but also some advanced blackjack insight is “Play Blackjack Online like the Pros”. This book goes into great details about some of the medium level card counting systems out there and is a nice step up from the beginner books.
* “Burning The Tables in Las Vegas” is a book that is written by one of the best blackjack players of the past couple decades. Ian Andersen is a high roller in Vegas who wrote this book that is filled with awesome information. You will not only learn beginner and advanced techniques and betting systems, but it’s filled with day-to-day life experiences on being a successful high roller.
* Ken Uston is one of the most influential blackjack players in the history of the game and he has a book that is titled “Million Dollar Blackjack” I don’t advise taking all of the systems to heart because a lot of them aren’t any good anymore and you need more relevant systems. What the book does offer though is a slew of information about the history of blackjack and some awesome stories from one of the most active blackjack players in the world in the 70’s.
There are plenty of other excellent blackjack books for beginners and advanced players, but this is a great starting point for any book collection. You should be able to find these books on Amazon for dirt cheap prices since most of them are fairly old now.
